[fauxtographer] represented in BlockMag this week, woot woot!

Check check it out! Nothing like getting a little love from the Brookland on-the-ground (fuck the underground). And just in time too, today I bought a new camera. Been about two months since I've been able to take a fauxtograph and Im beyond starting to feel faint. Much love to the Sony DSC F828, my new fire arm, and champianion in the daily fight to preserve that which is fleeting and and makes this city famous. Stay tuned for a new fauxtographic rennaisance...

he delivered a moving sermon, vinyl-clad and dawning high heels, bound by the flag. By the end he was all spit and teeth, ghasping rasping at words like a dead-drunk Joplin. Incredible.

babaji Jr. + babaji Sr. of the Israelites

if you don't know Baba Israel (seen left with his dynamic father Steve Israel) then I invite you to experience a wisdom seen through the eye of a brooklyn/downunder spy. Baba, father of Open Thought Music and other equally enlightening projects of the hip-hop and performance art nature, has brought as much light in my life as Edison, both Thomas and Con. He was literally one of the first creative cats I would meet on the street of this amazing beat we call NYC. His art and artisanship sets me on sail like a wrestling vessel on turbulent, purient thought waves. What I mean to say is he arouses the mind and the metaphysic.

loose arms, dangerous in a digital world

all my Ruskis know the Low Rider

from the corner of my eye I saw a thick arm crumple and toss a fist of
papers onto the street. They were a collection of parking tickets
(trade em with your friends?). I nodded and said, "expensive havin' a
car in this city, yeah?" Thick in a Russian accent he replied, "This
ride is wider than this smile (pointing to his broad grin). I must
park by fire hydrant, is only space for me. I guess city does not
understand."

No products, Just people.

this is a new sticker campaign to me. From what I can gather, "The Penetration" is against products or product advertising on some level, but supports people in some way shape or form.
